What is Whole Body Vibration?

Whole body vibration has been around since the mid-60s. The first scientific work with whole body vibration plates was with cosmonauts in the space program. With promising results, Soviet scientists found that by incorporating oscillating whole body vibration plates before extended zero gravity environments, cosmonauts can withstand 3 to 4 times longer zero gravity duration without suffering osteopenia conditions.

The biggest concern with zero gravity environments is the demineralization of bone tissue. Roughly after 30% bone loss, the body will hit a state of osteoporosis, although this is a reversible condition.

Whole body vibration has evolved since the 60s. The new vibrational patterns consist of three planes of movement. When balanced correctly it can engage a 97% muscle fiber involvement. Approximately only 30% to 35% of the muscle fiber is used with lifting weights and in aerobic exercises, it is even less.

Whole body vibration has enough science to prove that it benefits a human body in more than just losing weight. To learn more about hope vibration watch the video. Thank you so much.
